Laser Genesis Treatment

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive treatment that uses heat to reduce pores, wrinkles, fine lines, uneven texture, and other cosmetic concerns. It can help to lessen redness from rosacea and stimulate the production of collagen that improves skin firmness and elasticity. This treatment has minimal downtime and is ideal for busy patients who want a more youthful glow without the expense and downtime of surgery.

Who is a Good Candidate for Laser Genesis Treatment?

It is safe in most skin types and is effective in treating burns, scarring, rosacea, fine lines, large pores, uneven skin tones, and improving skin texture. The best candidates show early signs of aging and want to address redness, wrinkles, and acne scars.

How Many Sessions Does Laser Genesis Treatment Require?

Typically, patients undergo between three to six treatments spaced about four weeks apart. After the initial series of treatment, most patients should expect one treatment a year after to maintain results. Costs vary, but treatment is less than $400 a session.

What to Expect During Laser Genesis Treatment?

Patients will need to avoid suntanning and self-tanners the month prior to treatment. Do not wear makeup to the procedure and ensure that the area being treated is shaved of excess hair.

You may have the option to receive topical anesthesia prior to the treatment. During treatment, you should feel slight warmth but minimal discomfort. Laser Genesis restores skin from underneath the surface, promoting a flawless and radiant complexion. Damaged skin is removed and new cell growth is stimulated.

What to Expect After Laser Genesis Treatment?

Your face may be warm, red, and swollen after treatment. Those symptoms typically resolve within about 24 hours. Patients can normally return to daily activities and wear makeup the day after treatment. Avoid saunas, hot tubs, and other sources of extreme hear for a few days following treatment. Also avoid sun exposure and skin irritants, including retinol and salicylic acid, until your doctor gives approval. Skin will typically continue to improve for several months after treatment.
